I really like those gussets! Did you have them water jetted or milled? By the way, you can save a lot of weight up high by changing those bolts to rivets. Changing from bolts to rivets last year saved us upwards of five pounds over the entire robot. And, with a pneumatic rivet gun, rivets are fun to install.

They are milled out by a great local sponsor.

Since, Akash is on the job, I'm sure there's no worry. I just couldn't find the main breaker in either front or rear shot. I hope it's more evident IRL.

Care to share any more detail about how the reversible covers work? The two-sided part is easy. It's those ends that look impossible.

The main breaker isn't permanently mounted yet, its just floating around in the guts. It'll be fixed.

As for the bumpers - I did not work on them myself, it was a small group of kids and a parent. I'll ask about the exact method used.

I second this. Rivets are lighter, and we too have a pneumatic riveter. Much nicer. :D

Since I'm getting 400 of these comments, I'll just address this here

We don't have a pneumatic riveter and are quite low-budget. Our awesome machining sponsor also supplies materials. Yes rivets would be so much lighter, but where we are right now we may even have to weigh the drivetrain down. So it wasn't really a design issue. We had the nuts and bolts on hand so we used them.

tl;dr totally agree, but there was no need and we had bolts already.
