We have the BFB 3000 too (same thing, slightly older controller).
The most important thing is not to damage the bed! We sometimes have problems getting parts to stick without warping, so we are going to build a heated bed sometime. In the 3d printer "axon" software, be sure to adjust the density before printing parts that will take stress. It's a pretty good ABS extruder printer, so have fun with your huge print space! |

We've been printing with it for quit a while. As soon as we add a heated build platform it will be a lot better.
I've been experimenting with all the settings in Axon 2, and trying out axon 3. Axon 3 doesn't give any options at all but it compiles a lot faster. |

That's awesome you guys. We got one in the fall and the're so useful. Do you have any printed parts going on your robot this year?
