How to wire a Vex Spike

My team is using a Vex Spike connected to a window motor. I understand the motor-side wiring and the PWMs. However, how do I wire the battery side? Do I plug into the PD board, if so what gauge do I use? Do I need a breaker in the board, if so what ampage? Thanks.

When using a spike, I always plug it into the PD board using 12 gauge wire and a 40 amp breaker. I hope that helps!

Per R47, you must connect it to the PDB with a 20 amp breaker. Per R48, you must use 18 AWG minimum wire.

This violates R47.
