Optional NASA grant?

I got a question from my student awards submitter, and since I don't have a STIMS account I'm not sure what she is asking. Somewhere along the lines of submitting the Chairman's award she said you have to make a choice and one of the choices is "Optional NASA grant". We have received a NASA grant this year - do we select that?

Re: Optional NASA grant?

I know it is after the award submission deadline but you should have selected that it was for a NASA Grant. When the question was read to me it was along the lines of, "Is this to fulfill a NASA Grant requirement?"

This question is asked because all teams that receive a NASA Grant are required to submit a Chairman's submission as part of the terms and conditions of the grant. By choosing this it allows the judges to see who are possibly just submitting because it is a requirement and not wanting to be in the running.
