Stunning video, thank you so much for sharing it. It's amazing that all 3 of the World Championship winners have also won Engineering Inspiration awards in their histories, thank you all for what you do in your communities.

Any other teams want to share their hard work by posting their submissions for others to read? I know a lot more teams are doing great work and the community should know about it.

I can provide the google drive folder where we did all of our planning and notes. Some of the content is notes that might not make sense outside of the context that the comments were made. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a PM or ask a question here. For reference, we won Chairman's at the North Star Regional this year.

A huge thank you to Renee Becker for helping us with our presentation and providing feedback to us and the teams the other teams at the workshop that we co-hosted. Your advice was invaluable in crafting our submission. I can't remember the name of the other person that was there, but a great thanks to her too.

Since the season is over, I don't think my teammates will have any issues about me posting it now. Besides, Chairman's will be someone else's duty next year. ;)

All I have on hand is the essay portion. I can't find the video anywhere online, and we never recorded ourselves presenting.
Basically, the video was themed like a children's picture book, telling the story of our mascot toaster, Rye, as she travelled the world inspiring teams and communities.
Our presentation was business-themed. We all dressed up in suits and carried our handouts/brochures/papers in a briefcase that we set down in front of the judges. We had a flip-board with charts and graphs and illustrations about our content.

This year, we won the Gull Lake District Chairman's Award, and came in as a VERY close 4th place for Chairman's at the State Championship event (FiM: At the State competition, there are 3 Chairman's awards available). The one thing that held us back was our age; we're not an old enough team to have a long-term record of our sustainability. We also won Engineering Inspiration at the Livonia District Competition.

Here is a video of our presentation team practicing and here is a link to the zip file of our Prezi document for the presentation. We did not win in 2013, but the format is similar to our winning 2012 presentation and received positive feedback from the judges.
