This is great to hear, especially for the students. Canada is a big part of FIRST, and championship wouldn't be the same with missing teams.

Several teams, including us, rebranded to become community-based teams. There are a few, including the first Canadian team - 188 - who aren't competing this year.

This is likely going to make things confusing for the next while... We only recently managed to get permission from the school board to borrow our equipment (a week before bag and tag, the day were sure we would get permission ;). Here's to hoping they don't tell us to bring it back now that it's all over...

Good news as a whole though! Hopefully the teams that had to drop out this year are able to pull together and compete again next year!
