Wow, totally different from any bot we've seen so far, way to go against the grain even more this year 1714. I look forward to seeing this thing play, have a feeling a robot like this will dominate early events.

intriguing design! Is that velcro on the side to attach bumpers?

Are you talking about the white triangles on the sides? Those are actually pockets in the polycarb to reduce weight.

I don't know how the bumpers are being done, other than that we will have them. We also did have some little mockup bumpers on the front of the robot, so we know they will clear the horizontal bars on the pyramid.

I love the shape of your robot!

That is actually almost exactly what my team was trying to do this year. (yet to no avail, as mentioned in this thread)

Good Job pulling it off though!

I'm glad your scissor lift is invisible, otherwise everyone would see and start talking about how it'll never make Einstein. Looks awesome, I am a big fan of your polycarb construction! :D

That just made me think what a hazzard that could be in the pit to get your finger chopped off. Scissor lifts are dangerous enough as is, but invisible scissor lifts :ahh:

Wow, I'm impressed. I love the robot shape and your strategy. There's definitely a place for that robot on many possible World Champion alliances.

Can't wait to see you guys up in Duluth next week! I'll have to stop by your pits and chat a bit. Your use of plastics is always interesting!

Looks awesome guys! Nice to see the flexibility the rules gave this year being really utilized. I don't know why, but this just feels like something 1714 would do. I can't wait to watch it compete! Good luck!

Yep, that was what I was thinking of. Hope you get your bumper system soon!::safety::
