List of Webcast Sites

The Blue Alliance - http://thebluealliance.com/gameday

Watch FIRST Now - http://www.watchfirstnow.com/live.php

The Red Alliance - http://theredalliance.com/livefeeds.html

It takes a full-time job to maintain individual regional links, but feel free to post them yourselves below!

Yes, sometime over the next week we will add a global chat option.

Currently each stream has their own chat.

Anybody else getting the traverse city feed in black and white and a sort of split screen where you see the same feed twice?

Yes, and no audio from the mic's. Only on videos played (animation, etc.).

FYI - TBA's link isn't working without the www prefix. Temporary DNS issue, most likely.

The FLR stream is way, way too quiet. Traverse City stream is still messed up, with part of the bottom of the picture on the top of the screen...

EDIT: Actually, it's now the other way around: the top of the picture is on the bottom of the screen.

It should be working. At least it is now.

I know Greg is having issues trying to get the signature images working again, so that might have been part of it.

Not sure why you're getting certificate errors. If anyone else is also having this issue, please let us know.

We've updated GameDay with a bunch of live streams, and are adding more as we get links to them.

Unfortunately we won't be able to support GTR East because WatchFirstNow has prevented "other websites" from embedding their stream. What a shame. :(

Thats pretty dumb. I don't see a valid reason for doing so. Now I have to get off of TBA and switch between TBA/WFN for one webcast.....

Not sure why Lone Star isn't working on any of the webcasts, obviously means that they are not broadcasting anything, although I'm not sure why they are not. All I do know is that I really want to see 148's robot.

Lone Star's stream is in and out, and it's extremely laggy. 148 and 118 just went out for the first time, but it was hard to tell anything at all from the live feed.

Lone Star video works, but it's bad quality and without sound.
The Orlando regional on TBA wants me to install silverlight, and on TRA it wants me to install windows media player. Not gonna do either of those.

Why can't we all just use Justin/Twitch.tv...

Edit: Lone Star stopped working.

Watching ONTO and FLOR side by side, and it looks like FLOR is being broadcast from the late 80s by comparison. ONTO has an incredibly clear feed.

Also, 1114 debut right now.

Re: List of Webcast Sites

Knowing that there is someone willing, able, and in place is very frustrating from a viewer's standpoint. I understand that FiM is trying to set up an archive, (if this is the case for gull lake as it was for Kettering, though no sign of life on the youtube channel) but removing something that is a standard is a definite no-no. Why not work together instead, if this is the case?

Thank you code red you guys are awesome! Myself and many people I know view you guys as a staple for remote access to districts!

If anyone from FiM sees this please don't detract from what is already in place. I know you guys are trying to do great things, but this is one thing that is great already. Doing something in tandem, however, would be huge.

The archive is not trying to replace the webcast. 2337 is the one who handles the FiM video archive. Usually only events 2337 are at get archived (although there have been exceptions - Troy and Waterford were both archived last year). It's meant to supply people with high quality videos in pseudo realtime at a camera angle that makes sense. The webcast and the archive aren't two systems fighting each other - they're two independent systems operated by two teams independent from each other.

Trust me, implementing a MMS player compatible with TBA was a huge pain.

I guess if you want to get everyone on Twitch/Justin/Ustream, then you should probably contact the regional directors or teams responsible for streaming. Even Flash streaming is less of a hassle and still pretty much cross-platform.
