Jaguar Limit switches

Has anyone tried tying two Jaguars limit switch jumpers together, 1 limit switch controlling two Jaguars, so both motors will stop at same time?

We did this last year with our bridge manipulator. It is very important to keep the polarity on the wires the same. We had problems until we noticed that one wire was flipped 180 degrees from another, giving weird results.
