997 and 847 are in a tough competition for the most climbing points at the Autodesk Oregon Regional. Both have done 30 point climbs every match.

Today and yesterday at the Waterford Mott District in Michigan, Team 1025 was capable of a 30 point climb with 20 point dump. They climbed up the rungs from the inside of the pyramid.

Re: 30 Point Climb Club

Team 2582 accomplished multiple 30 point climbs at Lone Star. We also took a thrilling high-speed unexpected ride to the floor :yikes: in Q67 before the buzzer. We found out that our robot could bounce and the only damage was cosmetic and got right back on the tower in Q74 :D . Our bot has a new theme song...'Let the botties hit the floor' ;)

Team 3055 climbed for 30 points at Northern Lights, in Duluth. We spent the practice day and the first day of competition reconfiguring the robot to the one and a half inches to tall pyramid, but we finally got a legal climb on the second day of competition.

Your 30 point hang is in one of my favorite pictures from the Northern Lights Regional. This was from qualifying match 73 where our alliance set a regional high score of 143 that stood until the quarter finals.

Proud to say that Team 4014 had a very successful time climbing the pyramid. :) We think that our climbing mechanism is the only one of its type at the moment (it acts like an acrobat). It didn't fail once on us which was great... We also accumulated the highest amount of climb points of all the teams at our regional (330 Climb Points and ended up in rank 8). What was very suprising was that we were the only bot there that could clear the 20 point bar and fit into the 30 point zone and the 1ST one in Cali to do it! So many awesome robots this year, was a great competition!

Here is a cool video shot from the stands of our bot climbing to 30 points:

4587 was amazing! As rookies, they became the 4 Alliance Captains. If I recall correctly, they climbed to the top successfully in both of their Quarter Finals and both of their Semi Finals matches. They also won one of the design awards.

Team 2383 finally got it at the Orlando Regional in match 68.

And if I do say so, it was a very exciting climb :) Check out the video. The head ref told us she was just hoping that our robot didn't fall off.

Thank you all so much for all of the kind words. I cannot thank my team enough for all of the hard work and dedication put into this season. We surpassed our goal of completing this season with a driving working robot and completed a successful 30 point climbing robot. Thank you all for all of the help and for allowing us to become a contender for years to come. Thanks to Purple Haze team 418 and the Gatorzillas team 2936 for accepting to be on alliance 4 with a sophomore as the alliance captain/driver. Our rookie year at Lone Star regional was a complete success placing 6th in qualifying and making it to the semifinals. Thanks!
