Image rotation and the axis camera
Hey everyone!
I know that in Java you can only rotate the axis camera output 0 and 180 degrees, but I've read in forums that you can rotate the image output to many more angles using LabVIEW. Because the driver station is written in LabVIEW it seems only logical that you should be able to access the angle change somehow through Java to manipulate camera output on the driver station. Our mechanical team decided to mount the cam sideways this year, and I've found no way of just rotating the output image. Any ideas on how to go about doing this? |
Re: Image rotation and the axis camera
Check out the actual camera settings (by going to it in a web browser). You can actually rotate the image 90°, 180°, and 270° on the camera itself.

I tried logging into the web browser but it required authentication, the username and password provided by FIRST to not seem to work.

Re: Image rotation and the axis camera
The USER and PASSWORD are case sensitive for FRC.
IIRC the Camera Setup Tool sets FRC and root as follows: User: FRC Pass: FRC The other should be: User:root Pass:admin See this document: http://wpilib.screenstepslive.com/s/...an-axis-camera |
