80-20 Linear Bearing
Hello CD
I'm looking for some 80-20 linear bearings or slides. We can't find anything that really pops out at us on McMaster. Ideally, it would only occupy one face of the 80-20. Here's a picture of our small scale prototype slider that we built out FisherTechnic parts and a 3d printed slider. A little background- this is for my senior engineering project as part of a PLTW course. My partner and I are attempting to design and build an automatic whiteboard eraser. Thanks- Adam |
Re: 80-20 Linear Bearing
our team needed sliders and tried to get them on 80/20 but the ones we found didn't suit our need but i believe they were under part number was 2059but i can't remember what their called. but what we did instead was by delrin on mccmaster carr for the width of the X bar then using a table saw made the exact slide size it would fit in

Re: 80-20 Linear Bearing
Nice prototype. Try the actual 80/20 catalog, especially this section. Maybe p/n 25-6798?

Re: 80-20 Linear Bearing
You could possibly make your own. We have made some rollers and slides out of HDPE in the past for 80/20.

Re: 80-20 Linear Bearing
Take a look at rodless cylinders on Ebay.
