One thing's for sure; unless they've discovered some kind of black magic, they can't shoot from above 4ft. Still, darn impressive machine. |

But I would define "doing everything" as the following:
Could another robot outscore it? Maybe. But can this machine compete in every single level of the competition? Sure can. |
Re: Team 842 Presents: Ingrid's Dream
We were struggling for a while trying to figure out how to get the hook-and-chain concept to work. Once we realized that going under the second bar was a reasonable approach, the concept became much easier to work with.

This is amazing. Breath-taking climb, beautiful disc pick up. Congrats on your Phoenix regional win!

Re: Team 842 Presents: Ingrid's Dream
I saw the climbing diagrams at the beginning of the season and didn't have a clue what you were going to do. This is brilliantly done. I have been in awe. I don't know how many times I have showed this to other people...
Also, I'm really confused. Some sources have shown you were only planning on going to the Phoenix regional. I really hope as a HOF team and with how you played with this amazing machine that you will be going to world champs. This machine deserves to play there. Quote:

Hopefully we make it to champs this year. I'd love to see this thing in person and talk to the designers who've put a lot of effort into it!

I'm always so impressed to see the many different ways teams overcome end-game challenges. This is by far one of the coolest, and unique climbs I've seen yet...
Well done, 842!!! |

That climb reminds me of one of these:
