I am watching Battlebots as we speak on the East Coast and our good friends from team 59 from Florida will be vying for a shot to go to the finals. We'll see what Happens.

With our team 59 friends competing in BattleBots will they still find enough time and resources($$$$) to compete in FIRST? Any body have any clue?

DEFINITELY. I know for a fact that they have more than enough resources and time to do both projects. They are completely independent of one another, and you will definitely see them this year in FIRST.
