Awards and Families
 

Hi CD! I wanted to ask a sort of poll of how many families have won the individual awards (i.e. Volunteer of the Year, Dean's List, Woodie Flowers). I know:

Warren and Carol Cancienne - A father-daughter pair that have both won Volunteer of the Year at the Bayou Regional.

David and Matthew Ricks - A father-son pair, Mr David just won Woodie Flowers at Dallas and Matt is a 2012 Dean's List Winner.

Wendy and Rachel Holladay - A mother-daughter pair, my mum just won Woodie Flowers at Bayou and I'm a 2012 Dean's List Winner with Matt.

Those are the ones I know of personally, but I'm thinking there have to be some other cool relationship between winners, if anyone willing to share.

Bill Berggren and David Berggren have earned the WFFA award in San Diego

In third person for quotability:

Lucia and Kevin Sevcik - Mother and son, both Lone Star Volunteers of the Year, and Kevin won WFFA at Bayou.


Side note: Lucia completely failed at reading the script when I was awarded VotY. She usually tears up reading that script, but that year was the worst.
