Joystick's axis all switched around.

In short, we've got mecanum drive. I'm using the default mecanum program in LabVIEW. But I have to connect the joysticks to spots that make no sense and invert all of them. No clue why. Competition is coming up! Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks!

Re: Joystick's axis all switched around.

Most likely is that some of your motors on the wheels need inverting. Second possibility is that you have the location of the motors wrong. As in, the physical front left motor is actually connected to what is the back-left motor in your code.

If you can verify that you have the locations of the motors correct, then it's just a matter of inverting some of the motors in Labview. There should be terminals on the VI for doing that. Easiest method is to wire up the joystick correctly in Labview, then move it and note which direction wheels are turning, versus which direction they should be turning.

Also, I see you're going to be at Alamo. If you don't get it worked out by the afternoon, find me in 57's pit and I'll help you knock it out.
