Correct, we are not there. We had to drop it to pick up our home event at Bedford. For some reason, we are still listed on Blue Alliance though not on FIRST's list.
Thank you for the words of confidence though. :) We have a lot of ground to make up to get to states and Bedford District is going to be tough! We hope to be fully functioning with our shooter and back on the pyramid soon. :)

Yes, this is a known bug on The Blue Alliance. We are working on a fix right now!

:)

Thanks for the help!

Bedford is going to be a mini states. The finals are going to fantastic. So glad you guys decided to set this district up. Maybe it will turn into the new GLR. :)

Nothing can replace GLR... The out of state teams like 1114 and 1503 helped make that event special...

That event was special before 1114 and 1503 even existed. All of Michigan's best would be there (when teams like 47 were at their peak) and so would 45 and 111.

Couldnt have been more accurate about 2016.

TCNJ was a tough event for us, as we were playing the role of a host team and unbagging for first time.

But we will look to be a bit better in Cleveland.

I'm surprised that 3313 (at the 10000 Lakes Regional) wasn't mentioned-- their simple and effective shooter design seemed to work very well at our week zero event, and I can't imagine they've done anything less than improve between then and now.

Thanks! We are excited to have the chance to do it. A bit scared about making enough points to get to states with so many 3rd event teams, but very excited to give it our best shot! :) We will see you next week!!

A Bedford CA Banner would be awesome, and a lot of teams are 3rd, so that does increase our chances. But there are still some good 2nd tournament teams coming, so we can't count on that either! But, we will give it our best on both fronts! :) Between getting the event together and worrying about my team, I'm gaining a few(dozen) grey hairs! :) Can't wait for next weekend! :)

Plenty of the competitors at Buckeye are already familiar with each other, after facing off at Boilermaker, Queen City, or Finger Lakes. The winner in Cleveland may be decided by who has improved their play the most since their last event, with plenty of teams demonstrating unfulfilled potential earlier in the season. 340 is hoping that an streamlined climb and feeder will help boost their scoring. 2016 had a lackluster event at TCNJ, and will want to step up their consistency. 3003 won FLR, but as a defender during tele-op. Their autonomous shooting is solid, so they have the potential to contribute more under driver control. 48 and 1126 have demonstrated the ability to have very good two-way play, but their offensive numbers might need a bit of a boost to overcome the established scoring machines. 1507's accurate under-pyramid shooter and 1629's tall, long-range bomber seem to be the most established offensive threats heading into the event.
I've never seen a LF prediction so right and wrong at the same time.

The winner in Cleveland may be decided by who has improved their play the most since their last event, with plenty of teams demonstrating unfulfilled potential earlier in the season.

And boy did you ever look better in Cleveland, particularly in eliminations. Amazing improvement for sure.

While the Twin Cities' events don't appear to be as competitive as the Duluth events a few weeks back, the State of Hockey is starting to come of age in FRC, both in the quantity and quality of the competitors. 525 represents the lone hope of taking a medal away from the 10,000 Lakes Regional to another US state. But the Swartdogs should have a good shot, as they already grabbed gold at the Northern Lights event (though much of their alliances' scoring was done by 2169) in 2013 and are the defending 10K Lakes champs. Many of the locals are competing for the first time, but 2052 and 2705 look poised for a run at the title after strong events in Duluth (including the KnightKrawlers captaining the #7 alliance to victory).

This was a pretty spot on prediction with all 3 mentioned teams making it to champs. It ended up with 2052 KnightKrawler being the number 1 overall and choosing 525 with the first pick. We went on to win the Regional with a great 3rd bot 3244. Since both 2052 and 525 had won regionals we opened up a couple wildcard spots for 2705 and 2502, both very deserving teams.
