Hello,
I just wanted to confirm or deny the qualification requirements for the Florida competition. Do we have to place at the regionals to participate in the nationals??

Nope, whoever wants to go to Nationals can go. But, the best situation is to go to a Regional AND Nationals. If you are not going to compete at a Regional, I suggest attending one as a spectator (or volunteer!) to get a feel for the competition.

Good luck,
Andy Baker

NO! If a team didn't rank high enough at their regional, that would be six weeks down the drain. What if their robot is good, but just not as good as the other ones in their area?

If we were to have to qualify to go to the Nats, it should be with the robot design, special features, potential hazards.

Just my piece,

=Matt=
