Northern Virginia Charter Bus Share

Team 4472 SuperNOVA is looking for any teams who would like to share a charter bus to St. Louis. Our team is based out of Manassas Virginia, and we plan on leaving in the afternoon on Wednesday, and arriving Thursday morning. We would be leaving St. Louis Sunday afternoon, and arriving Monday morning.

We have 19 people riding on the charter bus, and we can get a 49 or 57 seat bus, with a minimal difference in price.

Hello...This is Mr Mummert from 1610 down in Franklin, Va. We had hoped to find someone close to us, but we did plan on picking some people up
in Richmond. Kyle Johnson one of our mentors for our team has been making
bus arrangements for us. If you'd like to contact him...e-mail me at
hank_mum@yahoo.com and i'll pass on his contact information.

I've passed this link on to our FIRST leadership in MD.
And Chesapeake is a week 7 event this year, so there may be local teams qualifying as late as 11 days from now.

It goes without saying that you may also want to get in touch without recent DC winners 1885, 116, and 4464.

Team Illusion is currently discussing our travel options and we may be able to work with you all. Is this offer still open? Please email me at kpatel10@terpmail.umd.edu.

Congrats on making it to the Championships in your first year!

Unlike Regionals, the Championship Event starts Wednesday afteroon (4PM) for robot load in. You will also be given 4.5 hours (I believe that is the correct number) to work on your robot and get through inspection as part of that time.

A full schedule can be found here

More information on the Championships can be found here

If you have any questions about how Championships operate, feel free to ask.

I wish we could go up for that Wednesday time, but we can not. I am just glad my team doesn't have any real work we need to do on our robot.

Ok, I just wanted to make sure you were aware that Championships is different than a normal Regional.

We will be there Wednesday morning/mid-day. Let us know if you need anything and we will try to help out the best we can.

You would be willing to unpack our crate on Wednesday? That would be a huge help and time saver.

We have a meeting tonight to discuss Championships agenda/itenerary. We should be able to arrange something. I will definitely push for it. There may also be some paperwork/logistics that need to be worked out if we can support this.

I will get back to you tonight.
