1678 just won their match. Unless 1983 wins their match and scores 70 in auto (difficult but not unheard of), 1678 will keep the number 1 seed.

1678 clinched #1.

1983 scored 66 in autonomous, so they are guaranteed #2 seed if they win.

I thought one decline was rare, let alone 4. 1678 was declined by 1717, 2056, 1310 and 359. I feel bad for the representative!

It's pretty liked that 1678 had already talked with all four teams and was told they'd be declined. Knowing that, they clearly wanted to breakup any potential powerhouse alliances to make sure they still had a chance at winning the division. Given their eventual pick, I wouldn't be surprised if 148 suggested the strategy to begin with, really. So you shouldn't feel bad for the rep, they almost certainly expected that and were executing the relatively standard scorched earth strategy that non-powerhouse 1st seeds often end up with.

Just saying it like it is. That technical foul was bull. Essentially a 50-point foul for a climbing foul.

The rule has been there the entire year. Don't touch someone when they are about to climb.

Just saying I've never seen it called until now. Either call a technical foul or call the climbing foul. I've only ever seen the 30 points being called (including teams who were actually hanging) let alone a team that wasn't even touching the pyramid yet. 2056 should be in finals.

2056 lost the first one as well. If the penalty wasn't called it would have still gone to 3.

No, this was SF 1-3. They won their first match and lost the second.

The head ref told us that we hit them while they were in the act of lining up, which they were instructed to call as "in the act of climbing".

What's the deal with finals match 1? 186-0?

And 862 nudges the pyramid and brings 1918 down; 2nd level fall. Red carded. Looks like Gears're out on the field for finals two though.

Were they in contact with the pyramid?
