It is going to be great as always....best event on Earth.
Numbers don't lie :)

Curves are peak OPR per team when entering each event.

Interesting data, Jim. As I suspected, Archimedes was the deepest field of 2013 to date, and MSC the deepest pre-CMP field -- but as the numbers speak loudly, neither holds a candle to the IRI. The cyclers will be so fast and the sweepers so clean, that I expect we'll see a few matches with the clock ticking down and NOTHING left to shoot!

We are having some database issues with getting the formal invites sent out.
We are working on it, but they have not been sent yet.

Re: IRI Rules and Team Invitation List

So, the median for top OPR for MAR was around 35, and the average qual score was about 106 (roughly 3x the median which makes a lot of sense)
The median of MSC OPRs was about 45 and the average score was about 130 (again about 3X the median which makes sense).

The Median for IRI appears to be about 60.... If it follows the same trend, we could see average scores of 180 points... This will get very very interesting....

It's going to be crazy...I'm bummed that we had too many conflicts this year to try and attend. I'm still trying to see if I can make the trip down on my own as I don't want to miss this.

Should be an amazing event! Team 3467 is extremely excited to be representing New Hampshire and this is our team's first IRI trip! After a solid weekend at Battlecry our team is itching to get back on the field after one of our best performances of the year!

Re: IRI Rules and Team Invitation List

Unfortunately it looks like team 1806 will not be able to attend. Our head mentor will be unavailable during the event, and our school district is unwilling to allow us to go out of state without him.

Oh well, guess there's always the livestream.

:( Well thankfully I have no shortage of other teams to cheer for. Particularly interested in how 624 performs after getting upset at their 3 regionals. Most of their fates were intertwined with 1477, but they didn't have the resources for a 4th regional.

On a cursory look it seems that there are significantly fewer full court shooters here than on Galileo. Phew :o
Anybody have a list of who here is a full court?

This is also going to get extremely confusing with both us (3467) and you guys (3476) attending the event! ;)

Just from a quick look, you have 67, 148, 195, 217, 303, (1806 :( ), 2468, and you guys in terms of dedicated full court shooters. However if you add in teams that have full court shots, you of course add in 469, 987, 1310, and many other high-level teams.
It'll be interesting to see what role full-court shooters take at IRI.

Has the draft always been 1-8, 1-8, 8-1? I was under the impression that it was 1-8, 8-1, 1-8
