Those were just two examples that caught my eye, I really don't want to seem like I'm calling them out. Again, I'm sure they're both really great teams.

On a different note, is there any reason that IN teams are given preference? For an event as prestigious and selective as IRI, that doesn't really make sense to me.

2451 and 706 were both first round picks of regional Finalist. Both were solid.

We won't disclose our process.

Current season performance is a big part of it. But a robot that is a 1st or 2nd pick could be "ranked" higher than a robot that was a 15th or 16th pick that won a regional. We select teams and robots, not alliances.

Indiana teams have a very limited preference, and it gets smaller every year.

We will be posting in the next day or so. Right now we are over 68 confirmed and a few are still working on school board approval - but are staying on contact with us.

Looks like an extremely competitive event as always with a very solid list of New England contenders (125, 195, 2648, & 3467)!

I really wish there was more west coast participation. Only five teams west of the Rockies! That includes zero from the PNW, even though a number of teams from that region had really good seasons.

399 was trapped in the unforgiving hands of district policies.. Hopefully we can make it there next year.

My exact thoughts too. It'll be interesting to see 359 from Hawaii. Counting down the days!

So do we. We had a logistics problem that prevented us from attending.

What happened to SWAT #1806? They were to be Kansas City's representative.

According to a team member earlier in the thread, their lead mentor was unable to attend and their school would not let them go without him.

I'm always amazed by how one little off-season in an Indiana highschool manages to attract almost all the best teams in the world.
Who do you think the most notable missing teams are? I'd say 1986, 254 and 1717.
