Your most inspiring FRC photo!

Ok everybody, I need all your help!

I'm doing a TEDxBrainport pitch on the 4th of June. My 7min pitch is about to how to make STEM more interresting for kids. And I give my vision on how we should change our current situation within the Netherlands. With an example as FIRST / FRC.

And I'm looking for 1 photo more... it needs to be PERFECT!.
What I need?:

1 Photo
FRC Student who explains something to younger kids.. who are looking at the robot, with for example: their mouth open..:yikes:, who are really inspired by it!

Hopefully you guys can help me out.
Here is my 90 seconds Student pitch: http://www.tedxbrainport.nl/pitch-fo...-pitch-winners (the second one: Ron Visser)

I have one that I really like that fits the goal of an FRC student explaining an FRC robot to younger students.

This photo also has the advantage of not highlighting a specific team #. The FRC student doing the explaining isn't even wearing a team shirt, but an event volunteer shirt.

I was planning to attach it to this thread, but attachments are turned off in this "Robot Showcase" area of CD.

I'm instead linking to the photo on the 1519 facebook group. Hopefully you'll be able to view the photo there.

The photo I uploaded is low res. If you want this photo at a higher resolution, PM me and I can provide resolutions up to 3000x2000.

The FRC robot is actually flipped upside down to show the drive train, and getting to see what is underneath has all the kids enthralled!

These kids were interacting with our 2012 bot which was being controlled from a long distance away, so they didn't really know what was going on... it was at a Halloween themed fundraiser for a foundation that had given us a grant so we were showing the public what where previous donations had ended up..

Probably my favorite photo from this year. Our youngest member explaining the 2012 bot at one of our demos.

I really like this thread.

Posting the pics as attachments or embeds makes the thread easier to traverse.

These pictures capture one of FIRSTs most important tenets.

This is my most inspiring FIRST picture. What you don't see in this picture is a wheelchair. This young lady just 6 weeks prior to this picture was 100% paralyzed and couldn't even breathe on her own. She was in the hospital for 42 days and had to relearn everything (Walk, talk, etc).

This picture was the very same day she was released from the rehabilitation hospital. After a half hour at home, she said "Mom, take me to the shop". She just wanted to build her robot.

When the Drs. told her she would not walk for maybe a year, her response was "I have a robot to drive in 4 months"...and she did just that. Now THAT's inspiring.

This is my personal favourite that I took from the season.

My electrical buddies were crimping some connectors onto some wires.

I also like this one (from a demo at a local elementary school).

This is a cool picture of our 2012 robot.

Wheelie!!! (2013 robot at our first competition. It's changed a lot since then, that's why you don't see our current climber)

Team 696 brought our 2012 robot to a local elementary school science fair this season. The outdoor, dark night setting, along with some bright lights and a good camera made it possible to get some great images.

Here are some notable ones.

I have a few good ones, have to look for them though. Here are a few good ones from the past weekend. We did a demo at the Erie Sea Wolves game with teams 156, and 291.

This one, when we won the Rookie All Star this year. It's hard to see in the picture, but most of us are crying in that pic..

Hopefully you can view these, PWNAGE has hoted a few summer camps for kids, and some of the pictures are adorable!

this one was for a girl scout camp demo, I wish I could have gotten more of the robot, but the look on the girls faces when they saw it kick a soccer ball was priceless!
