Wouldn't it be great to see NASA vs IFI?
118, 233, 254 vs 148, 1114, 217?

118, 233, 254 vs 2056, 1114, 1310

The ultimate NASA vs Canada showdown.

The Ultimate Team imo is:
1114, 2056, 67

but the sickest matchup would be:
Canada vs USA
1114, 2056, 1310 vs. 67, 469, 118

1114, 2056, and 1310 would probably be the best offensive Canadian alliance, however 4814 plays killer defense and might actually make for a more practical alliance partner. There's also too many good U.S. teams that are very similar, it's hard to say who would make the best/most exciting alliance, honestly 148 had the single most entertaining robot all season, truly a crowd pleaser:yikes:

But, If I were to choose an American robot for defense, I might go with 2789 TEXplosion, especially after they added a shooter for auton.

I'm interested how the St. Louis Regional would have played out with 1986 there

This would lead to the matchup of

Blue: A) 1806 B) 1114 C) 469 Vs. Red: A) 148 B) 254 C) 987

In autonomous, blue will score 13 discs and red will score 13 or 15 discs depending on whether 1806 or 1114 can stop red from getting the center discs.

This way, on the blue alliance, 1806 will shoot all of the discs besides 12 white and 4 blue for 1114. 469 will pickup all the missed discs in front of the opponents goal and score them before picking up the missed discs from 1806. Then they all will climb.

On the red alliance, 148 will shoot all of the discs from their feeder station with the help of 987. Meanwhile, 254 will pick up all the discs from their opponents side and score them into the goal and then score the missed discs from 148. After shooting some full court, 987 will pickup from the floor all that it can and climb. 148 will climb first and be stopped before 254 climbs with just a few seconds left, that way they can both fit.

This is what think the best matchup would be and I would really like to see this at IRI and I feel that with some luck they could almost happen with both full court shooters being selected 3rd.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but we're unable to attend IRI. I wish we could be there but it's just not feasible.

It would have probably been similar to last year, but I assume 1986 would have seeded first and picked 1706 as their partner.

Ok, no one has said it yet so I guess I might as well.... Bring back the Eh-Team!!!!!!

1114-2056-4334

50 pt. climb & dump, efficient cycler, 7 disc auton, ground pickup, FCS, what more could you want in an alliance? (Besides defense, but that seems to be irrelevant in this thread).

An alliance of this power would certainly be putting up some big points. To compete against this we would need some big competition. Where could we find big competition? Texas of course! Everything is bigger in Texas ;)

118-148-1477

Potential for a 9 disc auton here, FCS, 40 pt. climb and dump, the 2 ground pickups could put up serious points on a field with 2 FCS's emptying the feeder stations.

Let's get a FIRST Olympics in the offseason, each country can nominate a dream alliance to play and they square off. US v.s. Canada v.s. Rest of World. It's on!

Neither 1477 nor 118 have shown FCS in a real match.

I meant 148 and 4334. I should have distinguished that I meant FCS's on separate alliances not together.
