Not particularly.
1. Duplicates will indicate the question is important.
2. If he declines to answer a popular question, this community will stress over it and demand a response.

Wouldn't that be a good thing? I mean not demanding, but more pointing out that it is a good question that the community at large would appreciate knowing the answer to.

I would use respectively requesting :-)
