That's it.

Everyone I showed it to guessed it was part of some sort of ball joint. I suppose that's because I introduced it as an "unknown robot part."

My friend / teammate and I ordered two surprise packs that were delivered yesterday and got opened (gleefully) by us today.

We got a battery purse, a 2011 triangle, a lot of tanks, and a bunch of that stuff too. If someone could enlighten us, that would be awesome.

We ordered a couple. We got a ton of electrical connectors, spacers, some double keyed sprockets, and some other random items.

Thankfully we were in the midst of overhauling the drivebases on both our 2013 and 2012 robots so the spacers and double sprockets have already been put to good use!

Given its surface that seems very likely. The pieces we got were 18 inches long, almost 2 inches wide and don't have 3M printed on the back, which rules out Joe's guess.

Those tape thingys were just give-aways that we had made a couple of years ago. We figured that folks may want to have a spare piece of black duct tape in case they need to make a quick robot repair. They were not popular, so we still have many.

We got ours in today.
