Help Naming our Off-Season Event!!
 

Hello my name is Fiona Hanlon and I am a mentor of CRUSH 1011 from Tucson, AZ. Every year for the past 7 years we have been holding an off-season event in which we have called Robolympics. This year, we are using a official FIRST field and we are considering changing the name.

We think Robolympics sounds unprofessional and there is a possibility for improvement. We also believe that the marketing opportunities of this name are limited.

Some possible names (not very good ones) are: Southern Arizona Robotics Festival, Tucson Robotics Competition, Robots in T Town, Robotic Fun Under the Sun, and Tucson Robot Rumble

The event will be different then in previous years.
Since we are actually getting a FIRST field, there will be a registration fee(to help cover costs), and we will be playing a game very similar to Ultimate Ascent!

Whatever the name of the off-season event is you have to make shirts that have, "It's Tuscon like Donkey Kong!" on it as the event motto.

I imagine the MC at the event saying "Team Crush Presents: Trouble in Tuscon or Operation Desert Storm". Both sound good in my opinion and you could make some really nice posters with both of them not to mention T-shirts!

I like dust-offs,
but I hate dusting off anything in my backyard during the monsoon, knowing that within a week, I'll have to "dust off" again.

Logos for Tucson Tussle? Two mountain lions /wildcats fighting. Just like (cough, cough) UoA.

For a logo, how about a couple of boxing saguaro?

I'm not too good with Photoshop so I'll just try explaining my logo idea.

I would have 2 "T's" connected Side by side in block letters, like this.. TT. In the top bars of the T's it would say Tucson in one T and Tussle in the other. Then on top of the T's would be a side view of the current game field.

Something like that..
