Innovation Nation

Innovation Nation is a robotics competition aimed at high school (not necessarily FIRST) and college/university robotics teams run by the Centre for Surgical Invention and Innovation based at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Teams make a 1/2 hour presentation on potential commercial applications of their robot. http://innovation-nation.ca

This year, Team 1334, The Red Devils is proud to announce that they won the Gold level award for high school teams. Here's the video the team had to submit as part of the application process.

This is one of the greatest FRC robot videos I have ever seen. I don't know why I never thought of shooting game pieces into a fire before. Seriously great job and congratulations. The video did a fabulous job of explaining your robot.

Me neither!
That was a fantastic video and congratulations. I never realized just how easily one could bridge the gap between the robots we build and the real world. Maybe in 20 years, firefighting robots will be commonplace. Robots that could climb ladders and save people so that humans don't have to.

Saving the world, one step at a time- FRC 1334.
