I am working on setting up my gaming system as an IRC server for IRI. I will post connection details and the like once everything is configured!

If making your own server doesn't work out, you could just make a channel on any number of free public IRC servers such as freenode.

That's probably a much better idea. I don't have much time to configure it, and this is my first time trying to set up an IRC server.

Here is some details on the iri irc setup:
host: freenode
channel: #irirc

Please include your team number somewhere in your nickname!

Internet Relay Chat. It's a very simple live chat interface. Easy to use and very versatile.

So I scrolled through the chat today (haven't actually been on) and my mind has been blown! Reading through, I have found people from 4814, 1806, 2481, 1538, and 3175! I honestly didn't think this was going to be so successful. Thanks, guys!

I have always been of mind that it would be cool to have a #chiefdelphi IRC chat... If that was an idea people would be interested in, it would ideally have a ChanServ and active ops, but I think it would be a great instant-help resource for people.
