MORT - FRC 11 IRI Reveal Video

Check out MORT - FRC 11's IRI Reveal video! We've done a total rebuild since FIRST Champs! Looking forward to playing with all the other awesome teams at IRI this weekend. Good Luck to everyone! See you in Indy! Go MORT!

7 cycles. IRI just got a bit more interesting.
Though, how would one go about getting one of those no chain stickers for their robot?

What is the little servo (or motor, I really cannot see in that video) that you are using to push discs into contact with your shooter wheel? That's a really nifty idea!

Any plans on releasing the CAD for this robot? I'd love to get a closer look at how this thing works.

Dillon, I got the sticker from the Gates booth at FIRST Champs in April! I have extras, shoot me an email at dbodmer@mort11.org with an address and I'll send you one! Gotta love FRC!

Stay well,

Mr. B.

The fire rate is now 1.6 times faster, so that we have almost three Frisbees in the air at once. Obviously the hang is now pneumatic, so its a zero second hang, faster then our old passive one. The shooter is about 4 inches lower for a better feeding angle, improving our feeding speed and the robot weighs about 5-10 pounds lighter(a single person can carry it), so the driving is much quicker.

We improved a lot of little things to improve cycling, since we only did about 5 cycles during practice and competition during the regular season. With all the changes we are consistently hitting 7 cycles a match in practice, and in MidKnight Mayhem elims.

Miles,

The loader is a simple VEX 393 motor. The loader pulls the disc from the lower lip.
