Not too exciting

Engineer on team #111, Wildstang, from Rolling Meadows & Wheeling HS and Motorola. In Reply to: 10 amps how much can it be... Posted by Joe Johnson on 1/4/2001 9:12 AM EST: Well then, that is a shame. We are right back where we have always been - too much weight for the power produced. So unless we get some type of weight consession, I still cannot get too excited about the so-called improvements in the pnuematics. Raul : I think I saw a 10 Amp rating somewhere on the pump. With only 120 Watts (10Amps X 12 Volts) going in, I suppose less than 20 make it to the piston (without an accumulator of course). : I suppose that the steady state power is somewhere about what a seat motor can provide. : Joe J. |
