The best websites \ videos \ PPT and other information for FRC

Hi friends,
1. I search after the best websites that explain anything that is related to FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) for study more about FRC like the technologies (Mechanics, Control and Software) that use in the robots that compete in FRC.
2. I also search after videos \ PPT \ other information that explains why it is worthwhile to be part of FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) because I try to convince the children and the parents that is worthwhile to them to be part of FRC family.

I will glad if you can help me to find these websites and this information.
Joni

For tutorials and history on a good amount of the tech, see http://team358.org/. A lot of teams also have some information on their websites. You'll also probably find a good amount of info just trawling through CD. We can give you more specifics if you can be more specific about what you're looking for.

As for why people join FRC, that's harder. It's whatever people can make of the program. It's really the same reason why anyone gets into a successful career. Try looking through A New Cool for stories, and just ask FRC members for their reasons.

Also, can I ask why you are looking for this information?

As for number 1 I would highly suggest 1114's website, here. They have tons of information about most any subject you could ever want.

We've been compiling this type of information on this page.

The formatting is a bit messed up right now but all the information is there.
