[How I Work] - Kiet Chau

This week we feature our 2nd mentor from The Holy Cows, Kiet Chau.

Quote:

The Holy Cows get the honor of being of our first team with two mentors featured on our blog. We have already highlighted their lead mentor Jon Jack and this week we're are featuring another of their mentors Kiet Chau. Kiet has been around FRC since 2004 and has grown up in the program. He's now an engineer with Qualcomm. Read further for the story of how FRC got him his current job, some great stories including some really quick robot rebuilding, and a lot more.
Full Post

Thanks for reading and please continue to nominate more mentors for How I Work.

Haha, thanks, but I have nothing valuable to contribute to this blog at this point in my time within FIRST.

nice mechanical keyboard (one that’s not too loud)
Mechanical keyboards are the greatest thing in existence(infact I'm struggling to type on my laptop now as my mech is packed up...)

Judging by the picture, it looks like you have a Steelseries so I'm guessing you have cherry black switches?

As an individual who has never used a mechanical keyboard, what is so great about them?

Other than starting EwCP with RC, and building a pretty awesome rookie team at Drexel. But yeah, nothing other than that:rolleyes:

Yep. It's a Steelseries 6Gv2.

At home, I roll with an IBM Model M(black label, probably the best keyboard ever made) that my dad gave to me when I was younger. It still works and I use it daily.

Ooooh, the model M. Everyone say's it's the best, I have yet to go out and get one.

Personally, I use a Razer BlackWidow...

We need Travis Covington to answer these questions. My team had the pleasure in 2008 of being a couple pits down from 968 at championship. Watching them compete with that robot was an honor. By the way great job on this Kiet. Allen thanks for posting these.

It would be awesome to see more California / Michigan mentors post an article

I'm ready for another [How I Work] Article !

This is a much better way to start learning for Kickoff than Game teasers.

Andy, you know we work together? You don't have to post here to encourage me to post more. :)

I still have a couple more to post and should be getting to them in the next weeks. We still need more mentors to submit articles. I would love to have new ones to post during build season.
