Manual Transmission

Student on team #98 from St. Mark's School of Texas.

We are considering building a manual transmission. Has anyone tried this? Did it not work or just not make much of a difference? We have been using a simple gearbox in the past but we feel that the performance is unacceptable.

Thanks

Well I really dont see a point in it this year. As there will be no pushing aginst one another. I would just use the drill motors and Gearboxes and use some sprockets to gear it how you wish.
