Soft Drink Sponsorship

Just curious, everyone. Whatever happened to that soft drink company that was going to sponsor FIRST and put our logo on their can, etc.? I'm sure everyone from last year remembers Dean calling out that guy in the stands in front of everyone at nationals.

~Tom Fairchild~, who thinks the companies name is National Beverage, but isn't sure.

Pepsi...

There's something on the Rumors board about the Pepsi corp sponsoring this year's game, but I don't think it's true...

Faygo (in the midwest) ... or Shasta (in the south)

LONG discussion here:

Yeah, I remember the post, but did FIRST's name ever get on the side of the bottle like we heard it would? There's no FIRST logo on National Beverage's webpage ( http://www.nbcfiz.com/ ) but I'm curious if they ever got on the cans themselves.

~Tom Fairchild~, who remembers being showered with Faygo root beer at an Insane Clown Posse concert.

I buy Shasta on occasion up here in Jersey, and I've not seen FIRST's logo on their bottles and cans.
