[SOLVED]Andymark Sonic Shifter and encoder?
Hi!
Has anyone tried using the US Digital encoder with the Sonic Shifter before? Is there an easy way to mount it? Thanks! |
Re: Andymark Sonic Shifter and encoder?
The sonic shifter has mounting holes for an Encoder Mount Pad on the back below the shifting mechanism. The US digital encoder can then be screwed into the mount. This is how we've always mounted encoders and works really well.

Ahh!! Thanks so much! That's how we'll mount them then :-)

Re: [SOLVED]Andymark Sonic Shifter and encoder?
Do you have someone who our team could contact for info how to use encoders? I don't believe that we have ever used them and that we would like to learn.

For wiring and programming, the Encoder example in LabVIEW gives you everything you need.

Our team has never used encoders before. This will be our first year as well.
We were planning on just trial and error! Haha! Using examples and stuff from Labview. |
