Additional shots of 2122. With the exception of the swerve units and the extendable shot blocker, the entire robot was designed and built solely for Calgames incorporating the lessons learned from the 2013 season. First pic shows picker arm in lowered position. Second pic shows access to belly pan and electrical components with disk magazine in raised position. Third pic shows one of our swerve units.

Now for my .02 on my first Calgames: the organizers, volunteers, and host team put on an amazing event! The extent of their efforts was evident in the smoothness with which the weekend proceeded and the welcoming atmosphere that was palpable. Only wish we had more time to meet with more of the students and mentors of the participating teams.

One of the funniest things I've heard at a FRC competition was when, after the 8th seed made their first pick, the MC asked the crowd to shout who they should pick next, and someone yelled, with perfect timing, "254!"

I was indeed until they told me to take it off (apparently I showed bias to a team that wasn't competing at the competition which isn't allowed behind the scoring table even though I wasn't scoring).

And then you tell them that "Teh Chezy Pofs" aren't a registered FRC team!

Yeah sure, we don't care.

On a side note, anyone have the finals recorded and on youtube yet?

Congrats on putting together such a solid robot over the summer. We loved teaming with you through the elims.

Thanks for the kind words, we had a blast working with you guys and your impressive robot. WRT the off-season robot build, it gave us the opportunity to try out some new design/build ideas (primarily to lose weight with no loss in performance), while providing additional hands-on training to our newer students. I still can't believe we came in 20 lbs underweight..
