we are considering using pistons as a way to pull the goal closer to our bot. has anyone calculated the amount of force that will be needed to do that?

An air piston can pull the goal with very little problem, figuring you are using a 2" bore

To find the force that the pistion will put out use the formula F=AP where F is Force A is area of the inside bore of the cylender and P is pressure
