Woot ride on tricycle - any motors we can use?

Woot! Kids is offering this battery powered ride-on tricycle for $59.99 + $5.00 shipping today:

Anyone know if this has motors or other parts we FRC folks can use? Thanks!

I highly doubt it has compatible motors. However, plastic gearboxes...

FRC motors have popped up in all sorts of weird places (mainly banebots). We found a leaf blower with a rs-550 in it, the right part number and everything! You could also find some others in drills/cordless power tools.

Banebots doesn't make the motors, they just buy ones from (presumably) china. So whoever is selling to banebots is also selling to many others.

I would think that these would be stripped constantly with the stress of FRC. What are they useful for?

We used the Fisher Price plastic gearboxes for numerous devices on past robots, they held up quite well. I've even seen a robot or two that used them for drivetrain.

These gearboxes probably aren't anywhere near as tough as the fisher price ones, but who knows.

Also should point out that the item sale is over...

Driving arms on Einstein

That's a stock Fischer Price gearbox from the KOP, normally used power the Powerwheels kiddie cars. IIRC it's 330's preferred method for driving their arms.
