Re: 2014 St. Louis Regional
There were a handful of teams at the Central Illinois Regional that will be at the St. Louis Regional.
For those interested in seeing how the game was played or for scouting, check out this link for videos from CIL. http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnxYxpXol19JVG7sar12H2Q Feed the Fish! DeAnna |
Re: 2014 St. Louis Regional
1658 will be attending as usual. Hopefully we have a functioning robot this year!
(we bagged a fully functioning bot so fingers crossed) Autonomous video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDNP...ature=youtu.be Practice video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q16M...7xo1Oi08f0dphg There are more improvements on the way and should be expecting a good competition. |

Yeah I am by no means a friend of mecanum, but swerve on the other hand is my lover for life!!
If it performs as good as it looks they will be seeded extremely high this year. And a team that pays that much attention to detail on aesthetics will likely have paid that much detail all throughout the year |

Re: 2014 St. Louis Regional
All of the teams that will play at Arkansas and St. Louis are in eliminations.
1985 is the second alliance and their captain 1706 is the seventh alliance and their captain 4500 is the second pick on the first alliance My predictions, 4500 will win the event with their captain being 16 and 1985 will be the other Finalist. 1985 may pull through though!! I look for it to be a close match, 1985 made a very smart first pick. 1706 is going to have a hard time against 1985 and I doubt they make it past Quarterfinals, 1706 is a great team but they had a tough schedule and continue to have a tough schedule. |
Re: 2014 St. Louis Regional
Go RoboHawks!
Following the semifinals now -- your team is representing St. Louis very well. ---- (Better look into that drivetrain issue. :) ) |

Re: 2014 St. Louis Regional
Congratulations to team 4500 at the Arkansas regional. They have now created the possibility for a wild card spot at STL this year. If any teams could show there robots in this forum that would be nice!

Re: 2014 St. Louis Regional
1444 will, as usual, be there in force. We are looking forward to another exciting St. Louis Regional!
And thank you to those above for the kind words. Our team is very excited about the robot this year and we look forward to competing with it. Several students have also worked very hard in putting together a new website, so I am glad you came across and shared it here! See you all on Thursday! |
Re: 2014 St. Louis Regional
Okay, who ordered the snow storm for Indiana?
Your cruel plan will NOT work, FRC Team 1501 will be there, snow or no snow. |
Re: 2014 St. Louis Regional
Fortunately, the weather is supposed to be beautiful in STL this weekend. Good luck getting here and stay safe!

Re: 2014 St. Louis Regional
A lot of great looking robots and teams today on Thursday. Good luck to everyone tomorrow and keep your eyes peeled for our swappable blocker featuring Mutombo. It could make an appearance at some point.
