I think this kind of question will only attract people to use their team as an answer. Guess who I think is going to win?

Well, as much as I'd like to plug my team, this post reminds me of the speech that the head of FLL in CT gave at the state competition last December.

"No matter what, if this competition was to be held tomorrow or any other day, I can assure you that the winner would be different."

Ok, so thats not a direct quote, but it's close enough. But, I think that quote really transcends into the FIRST Competition as well. There is a level of ability involved on the robots' part to do well in this competition, and I think that because of that a group of teams will rise to the top depending on their ability.

But beyond that, it is all luck. And I have to agree that no matter what, the winner would be different if it was held on any other day than April 7th.

I think its to early to speculate on who the winner will be this year but to be safe team 237 has just built a new Trophy Display case twice the size of this years field with spot lights and sirens, other than that I have no Idea.

Jess. We were keeping it a secret from you but I guess I let the cat out of the bag, so.
As you go out the door marked "IN" on the left behind you, go up the down stairs
through the locked door and under the wall. As you go down the hall keep taking lefts in a clockwise direction to the south and past the DO NOT ENTER sign.
At the end of the corridor " DO NOT GO ANY FURTHER " but turn around so you facing the opposit way and walk backwards the way you didnt come.
If you have followed these directions to a "T" and its not there.........then it gone and probably some where else.

I think my previous team, Mass Academy / WPI (190), will go all the way. However next year my team will be at nationals and win.

I think Pat's on to something here.... I never had the pleasure of meeting you, but Ken has a lot of good things to say about you. Thanks for the vote of confindence and WPI will be yeilding a very sound robot this year, with quite a few new members with 6 years of FIRST experience. Everyone will be quite suprised with the Spidergoat as its been deemed. See you at Comp...

My favorite part is that ours is just sitting on a counter. I don't think anyone knew what it was until I recognized it........ And it's not that heavy but they do get dusty after about 5 years of sitting there.

Matt who's tempted to steal it and put it in his dorm room.....
