My team has used something similar.

It is very useful to just keep running on a laptop in the pits. Extra notifications or a phone app or anything of that manner would be added complexity with minimal-no benefit. The robot is always in the pits with a few people, so it's not like we just forget to go to our match.

This is a neat idea.

FRC Tracker does a simple schedule view for mobile devices.

But Having a nicer way to display the data on a monitor at the Pit would be pretty cool !

In theory, you should be able to grab this automatically by looking at the Blue Alliance API.

FYI...
In the program when you run through the matches. It goes to match 21 then back to match number two.

Thanks for the heads up! It's fixed and will be coming in the v1.2 which will come very very soon, like tomorrow maybe

I thought it would be helpful to have it in this sub as well as in programming, and I plan to release the source code in the programming section thread, as opposed to not doing that in this one

Right now me and another programmer are learning how to do android apps for a scouting system, but this program was meant to be able to just display on a stationery screen in the pits, kinda like Pault's explanation:
The reason the data must be entered by hand is that we don't plan to have any connection to the Blue Alliance other than on our phones and we decided against purchasing a mobile 3g or 4g usb dongle this year due to budget constraints. I think having a notification before a match would be helpful! Thanks for the suggestion, I will work on that!

Update!

v1.2 is now available on MediaFire and Google Drive!

v1.2:
-Comboboxes instead of writing out bumper color
-Small GUI fixes that bugged me
-Comboboxes fixed crash if bumper color was entered incorrectly
-Fixed form3 not saying "Match Times" at the top

Still to come:
-Automatic Timing of match changes (thanks to nathannfm for the idea)!
-Notification of bumper color, match time and alliance partners 10 minutes before your next match starts!

I like it! Is there any way you could release the source code under a free license? I would love to make some changes, and if you'd let me, contribute back to the project.

-Option to allow the program to automatically proceed to next match after a specified time amount
