FRC Team Spotlights #7: 2056 "OP Community Robotics"

So the spotlight was a day late because my computer mouse died. After the season starts I'll probably be a lot more consistent with these.

I made my spotlight this week on a very known team. OP Robotics is one of the reasons people consider the Canadian region to be, well, OP. They currently hold the record for longest consecutive regional wins at 17 since their rookie year, and show no signs of losing it. You can check out the spotlight I made for OP robotics here; and the other 6 spotlights I've made under the same channel.

I'm probably not the first to notice, but 2056 won Archimedes in 2012 with 1114. 1678 and 148 were the winners of Currie (2056's division) in 2013, not 2056.

By the way, where do you find this footage?

Nice recap.

Two little things, 2056 won Archimedes in 2012 not 2013, and Canada has 10 provinces (and 3 territories), not 7.

Oh I knew I did something wrong with 2012, I was reading off this page and all the the information is right next to each other.

As for the clips if I don't get them off The Blue Alliance I search really hard for old livestream-y type stuff. More often than not there will be something that says the videos open source and can be used for whatever. That's why there isn't a lot of footage of certain regionals in this video, I'm kinda trying to avoid most copyright disputes.

My general knowledge has failed me, sorry about that. If I ever do another team from Canada (which is very likely) I'll keep that in mind.
