2014 Queen City Regional (QCR)
 

Who is getting excited for Kickoff! I know we are. Great things coming from the Queen City Regional. We have some great teams signed up to come this year and we are looking for more. If you are still looking for a 2nd or event a 3rd event. Consider QCR. Every team I have spoken to enjoys the event and the atmosphere.

It has been great going to QCR the past two years. We can't this year because of the school schedule and only having funding for one regional. (We try to avoid spring break generally, but if we had funding for a second regional it would likely have been QCR.) There are a lot of good places to take a team to eat in greater Cincinnati without all of the teams descending on one place and they do a good job running the event. But the best feature is the full sized practice field. That allows you a lot more time to work out the kinks of your robot and to try different strategies.

FIRST Team 1086 Blue Cheese is looking forward to making our first trip up to Queen City. It should be an awesome event!

We look forward to attending this event one day soon!
Dave has already provided us support last year during build season.

It is on our "regionals to attend" list in addition to the Carolinas that I promised Billfred.

Team Roboto 447 has really enjoyed this the past two years, and we are looking forward to coming back to have a great time with everyone we have met, and get a chance to repeat last year's success at the regional.
