Flight Stick Clarification

Other on team #506, StART, from St. Anthony's HS.

After the latest FIRST update the use of other joystick controllers after the discontinuation of the Flight Sticks that were part of the robotics kit, a rule clarifcation allowed the use of any non-usb controller. Has any team found a certain type of brand of joystick that works best with the control system? Has anyone found a joystick that works and calibrates in the same matter as the Flight Sticks?

Just because you're on the topic of new flightsticks, I remember even reading in Update #5 that you could even use some "wheel/pedal" modification if you wanted to. Imagine driving the robot like a car. Now, THAT would be a scary evolution...imho of course.
