Leftover Autonomous Balls?
 

So I haven't really seen this on CD or in the rules but if I have missed it please tell me. So if Robot A,B and C start with balls in autonomous and they miss these shots what happens to these balls since the rules say only one ball per alliance at a time?

This was in another thread, but until all 3 of the balls are scored, no extra balls are put into play. So there are 3 balls to start, once those 3 are scored, one is put into play, once that one is scored, another is put into play, so on and so forth.
