Best way to attach the retaining rings to cim motors?
 

In assembling the tough boxes, we need to attach retaining rings to the cim motors. However, we are having some difficulty getting the retaining rings on. Does anyone have any suggestions on attaching them?

We usually use a socket and give it one good even tap with a hammer. Or put the socket on the table, put the ring on the socket, and push the motor into it.

Use a socket that is bigger than the shaft and gently press it on with a hammer.
