Radio Configuration Utility Problems and cRIO Issue
Our team just started setting up the control system, and we've had a few issues getting the robot going. When opening the bridge configuration utility, the program crashes, with the error "A network configuration error has occurred and the application must now exit". We've seen this on windows 8 64 bit, and windows 7 64 bit, both of which ran the 2013 version fine.
Our other issue is with the new cRIO image. After taking a long time to image (45 minutes), the cRIO (FRC-II) is really slow. We also can't get the cRIO to image again, using two computers, and three Ethernet cables. During imaging, other network interfaces were disabled, and the IP/subnet mask were set properly. The time from power on to flashing RSL (user code started) used to be about 30 seconds, now it's over 2 minutes. The time for cRIO to reboot/reconnect in NetBeans while deploying code used to be 7 seconds, now it's 32. Before we went to 2014, the cRIO worked as usual. Has anybody had these issues yet or found a solution? |
I'm not too sure about your issues with the new cRIO image, but we had the same issue with the bridge configuration utility. It turned out it was since we were running the utility on a computer with Windows 8.1. When we ran the utility in compatibility mode for Windows 7, it worked just fine. Hope that helps!
