Ball Herding

1 Attachment(s)
So for getting the balls for the robot, we have a method for herding it.
Id like to know what your input is and how we can improve.

Herding is pushing or bumping the ball.
This looks like a device to bring the ball into the robot.

Use something that isn't duct tape to hold the tubing; e.g, a hose clamp.

Our team considered a herding mechanism for a long time, but we discarded it due to length requirements and it is easily defensible.

Pretty much any intake device has the double use as a herding device. Are you only receiving the ball from an HP or a catch?

We plan on taking the ball in with rollers, and holding it on the chassis. We calculated herding, and the length that the ball would be at because of bumpers makes herding difficult. Especially with the 20in restrictions.
