How can I tell that code deployed?

How can we tell that newly written code has deployed? The greed code light on the DS is on, but how can we know that this isn't previous code formerly deployed? What should I look for in the net beans log to indicate success ?

A couple of things to look for: 1. the log says something about FTPing to the address of the robot, 2. The crio reboots.

If you have a robotInit override, you can put a message to the console in there that will be shown in the netbeans output Window when the robot is ready.
